Coconut Fiber Logs are composed of the material between the coconut’s hard inner shell and the outer coat. Coconut fibers are thick, strong and have a high abrasion resistance. These fibers are typically made in to mats and logs of varying shapes and sizes to accommodate any project needs. There are two types of coconut fiber logs: plain and vegetated. Vegetated logs will provide security of seeds and overall plant community and will prevent the plants from becoming suffocated in the event of a minor flood. Pre-vegetated coconut fiber logs will also increase resistance to shear strength by connecting native plant roots to the product.
