Delivery Driver- No CDL Required - Longmont, Colorado

Position Overview

We are actively searching for a full-time Delivery Driver for our Longmont, Colorado location. This position will work Monday through Friday with rotating 8 hour shifts with an hour lunch.  Hours are between 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.  Overtime hours can be expected and based on company staffing needs.

Primary duties and responsibilities include the following:

  • Loading and unloading trucks
  • Organizing products and rotating stock as product is received
  • Daily upkeep with products to maintain a clean and organized warehouse and yard
  • Delivering products to customers in a timely and professional manner
  • Keeping delivery vehicles clean and looking professional
  • Keeping warehouse manager aware of maintenance items needed on vehicles

Other duties and responsibilities include the following:

  • Assist in the repair and maintenance for the warehouse equipment
  • Operating forklifts
  • Driving delivery trucks
  • Moving 50-55 pound bags of fertilizer and tackifiers from trucks to pallets and stretch-wrapping them neatly

Qualifications for the successful candidate include the following:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize and manage time efficiently
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Must be able to operate a forklift
  • Must have a clean driving record and be insurable
  • Must be able to work in extreme weather conditions
  • Must adhere to all safety rules at all times

Warehouse Associate - Denver, Colorado

Inside Sales/Warehouse/Driver

SUMMARY

This position will work in the office; assisting sales representatives as well as support the operation side of Bowman Construction Supply-Longmont. The position must show a professional company image through in-person and phone interaction to customers as well as vendors and associates. This is an all-around multifaceted position. Includes some warehouse duties.  Unloading of incoming trucks with a forklift, and acting as a substitute driver for deliveries, no CDL required.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Perform general customer service duties
    1. talking with customers about our products
    2. taking sales orders
    3. loading customers when they come in for pick up
  2. Create and modify documents using Microsoft Office, Excel, CRM, ERP
  3. Maintain hard copy and electronic filing systems.
  4. Support staff in assigned project-based work
  5. Deliver products as needed and as time is available
  6. In addition to these typical duties, may perform other duties as assigned and required.

MINIMUM ABILITY, SKILL AND KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS:

  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
  • Must have strong computer skills; Excel and Word used daily
  • Must have strong organizational skills and pay close attention to detail
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs., when necessary

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

This position has no supervisory responsibilities. However, this position is required to be a self-starter and be able to manage their time effectively and efficiently.

EDUCATION/PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE:

Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year College or University is a plus but not required; one to two years related experience and/or training is a minimum level.
