Kyowa Filter Units have been used for over 25 years to proctect rivers, seashores and bridges from scour damage. Kyowa units are made of mesh net and rocks, and blend seamlessly in to the environment. The units' flexbility allow them to conform to uneven seabeds and be stacked on top of one another for bank protection applications. To make installation efficient, multiple units may be installed using a lifting frame.
The Kyowa Filter Units are made of a synthetic fiber that is resistant to corrosion and is highly durable. These fibers are UV resistant and can withstand 30 years of sun exposure.
